Demand Media celebrated their IPO on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. Richard Rosenblatt, co-founder of Demand Media and former Chairman of Myspace, rang the bell with his colleagues. Founded in 2006, the company employs a network of over 12,000 freelancers who develop content and video for all of their sites. The list of sites Demand Media is behind is numerous including ehow.com, cracked.com, livestrong.com, answerbag.com, golflink.com, and their most recent addition, typeF.com.
